What is Church’s Chicken?

Church’s Chicken is an American fast food restaurant chain, specializing in fried chicken. The company trades as Texas Chicken in many countries. It was founded by George W. Church, Sr., on April 17, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas. The company is the fourth-largest chicken fast food chain behind (see menus) KFC, Chick-Fil-A, and Popeyes, but larger than Raising Cane’sEl Pollo Loco, Boston Market and Pollo Tropical. Church’s Chicken has over 1,660 locations in 30 countries, including Bulgaria, Canada, Curaçao, Egypt, Georgia, Guyana, Honduras, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, St. Kitts, Saint Lucia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Syria, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, Vietnam and Puerto Rico.
