The Five Best Restaurant Finder Apps.

Yelp Restaurant App (iOS/Android/BlackBerry/WP7/WebOS)

In addition to its mobile site, Yelp has mobile apps for every platform, and all of them use your phone’s on-board GPS to find out and show you what restaurants in your area. You can filter based on hours of operation, type of food , and estimated costs. There are plenty of reviews for almost any restaurant, but not all of them are reliable.

OpenTable App (iOS/Android/BlackBerry/WP7/WebOS)

Reservations are still OpenTable’s main business,, but the team behind the app have also partnered with Yelp to exchange reviews and reservations. The app allows you to see nearby restaurants, earn points and awards for making reservations through the service, and read helpful reviews from OpenTable members.

Urbanspoon App (iOS/Android/BlackBerry)

Urbanspoon’s app allows you to share and compare your reviews with friends, find restaurants near you, and everything else that most restaurant-search apps do. Now, Urbanspoon also integrates reviews from newspapers and food blogs. This adds authority and weight to the reviews that other services are lacking.

Foodspotting App (iOS/Android/BlackBerry/WP7)

Foodspotting encourages you to search and share dishes that you enjoy, not just restaurants. So when you use Foodspotting, you can take pictures of the food and drink that you like, upload it, share some thoughts, and then tell the community your location. When you use the mobile app, you’re shown photos of dishes near you, not just a list of restaurants in your neighbourhood. The community can then like and share your photos.

Google Places Restaurant App (iOS/Android)

The iPhone and Android apps leverage Google’s growing database of restaurant information and user-submitted information to help you find restaurants, cafes and bars near you at any time. Tap a location to see photos, read reviews and see opening hours. In Android, the app is part of Google Maps, and lets you get driving directions or call the restaurant directly.

See the Menus.

Please use the navigation list in the page sidebar, or use the search function, to find the menu page for your favourite restaurant. Also, please make sure that you visit the comment section on each menu page, as current deals and menu changes will be listed there.

Who are we and what do we offer?

  • Free online restaurant menus.
  • The latest restaurant deals and specials.
  • News from the fast food industry.

Unlike most menu websites, we have included actual prices for the various listed restaurants, so that you can easily get an idea of the costs and variety of items before you visit the restaurant. We concentrate on menu prices for the largest American Restaurant chains and fast food chains, such as the Olive Garden, Pizza Hut, Chili’s, Subway, McDonald’s, Golden Corral, Wendy’s and Taco Bell. We do not provide prices for local restaurants or individual outlets.

Also, please note that menu prices will be an example only, a national average, if you will. Prices may vary from location to location, due to differences in labour costs, rent and other overhead costs in different parts of the country. Prices do not typically vary more that 10-15%, though special locations such as Manhattan New York, Alaska and Hawaii may have larger variations in price. Also, restaurant chains that use the franchise business model will let the franchisees set the prices locally.

However, prices are generally up-to-date and a very good indicator of the actual price, that you will have to pay at your local eatery.

Restaurant Coupons and Deals.

We have also added deals, and sometimes coupon codes, for the various restaurants. If the deals for a particular chain change often, then we will add a dedicated page for the deals and promotions for that company. Otherwise, we will add the current deals in the comments section of the menu page.

Secret Menus.

Secret menus become increasingly popular. The Secret menus are unofficial and unadvertised items on restaurant menus around the world. Secret menus items are passed from person to person through word-of-mouth and they change often for promotional purposes. If a secret menu become very popular, we will add a special page on it here on the site. For example, fast-food chain Arby’s recently added a secret menu item called the Meat Mountain “sandwich”. This secret menu item had to be specially requested. Another example is the McDonald’s Monster Mac wich has eight beef patties versus the standard two in a traditional Big Mac and Taco Bell customers can ask for Cheesarito (a soft tortilla filled with cheese and scallions) and the off-menu Superman Burrito, which is a cheesy double beef burrito with extra potatoes, guacamole and tortilla strips

Other Popular Secret Menu Items:

McDonald’s: The Land, Sea and Air Burger (a Big Mac stuffed with Filet-O-Fish and McChicken sandwich patties) and the Chicken McGriddle (a fried chicken patty inside a syrup-flavoured McGriddle bun).

Burger King: The Rodeo Burger (a cheeseburger topped with onion rings and BBQ sauce).

Starbucks Cotton Candy Frappuccino or Cake Batter Frappuccino (a standard Vanilla Frappuccino with an extra pump of vanilla bean and almond flavouring), Liquid Cocaine (four shots of Espresso and four pumps of white chocolate syrup).

Many popular Secret off-menu items are simply former limited-time offers that were not popular enough to land on the regular menu.
