What is Chipotle?

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is an chain of restaurants with restaurants in USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, and France. The company specializes in Mexican food like burritos and tacos. Chipotle is the Mexican Spanish name for a smoked and dried jalapeño chili pepper.

Chipotle was started by Steve Ells in 1993 and Chipotle now has more than 1600 locations,  a net income of US$327.4 million and more than 45,000 employees.

All of Chipotle’s restaurants are company-owned.

Chipotle’s menu has 6 main items: Burritos, fajita burritos, tacos, burrito bowls, quesadillas and salads.  The price  is based on the choice of toppngs like chicken, pork carnitas, barbacoa, steak, or vegetarian. Other toppings are: rice, beans, four types of salsa, sour cream, cheese, or lettuce.

The company serves more organic and naturally raised meat than any other restaurant chain, and Chipotle prices are typìcally a bit higher than other Texmex fast food menus, like the Taco Bell menu and the Chilis Menu.

Chipotle’s History.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is a chain of fast casual restaurants that specialize in Mexican cuisine. The company was founded in 1993 by Steve Ells, a former line cook at Stars restaurant in San Francisco. Ells wanted to create a restaurant that offered fresh, made-to-order Mexican food that was also affordable and convenient.

The first Chipotle restaurant opened in Denver, Colorado in 1993. The company quickly expanded, and by 2000, there were over 100 Chipotle restaurants in operation. In 2006, Chipotle went public, and the company’s stock price has since more than doubled.

Chipotle has been praised for its commitment to using high-quality ingredients and its focus on sustainability. The company’s mission statement is “to make better food for more people.” Chipotle has been criticized for its use of GMOs and its handling of food safety issues.

Despite these challenges, Chipotle remains one of the most popular fast casual restaurant chains in the United States. As of 2023, there are over 2,700 Chipotle restaurants in operation in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

Here are some of the key milestones in the history of Chipotle restaurants:

1993: Chipotle Mexican Grill is founded in Denver, Colorado.

2000: There are over 100 Chipotle restaurants in operation.
2006: Chipotle goes public.
2011: Chipotle opens its 1,000th restaurant.
2015: Chipotle reports its first quarterly loss since going public.
2016: Chipotle’s food safety practices are called into question after a series of E. coli outbreaks.
2017: Chipotle’s CEO Steve Ells steps down.
2018: Chipotle begins to recover from its food safety crisis.

We have added the 50 most popular “secret” drinks menu items at Starbucks below. Learn how to order Starbucks Secret Menu drinks, like the Twix Frappuccino or the Cotton Candy, Nutella, Butterbeer & Oreo Frappuccinos.

What is the Starbucks Secret menu?

If you have arrived at this page, then you have most likely heard about the “Secret” Menu through word of mouth or through online media. In fact, the Secret Starbucks Menu is no longer very secret, but a marketing tool that Starbucks is actively promoting.

The Starbucks Secret Menu drinks are drinks, that you will not find on Starbucks’ official menu. Instead, you have to ask specifically for the secret menu drink that you want, and if the barista don’t know how to make it, you will have to explain the recipe to him or her.

But do not worry, the Starbucks Secret menu is now such an integral part of the Starbucks culture, that most baristas will know the recipes for the most popular “hidden menu” drinks. At least in the USA and Canada, where this trend is most widespread.

The secret menu drinks at Starbucks are not actually made up by the company’s product team, but are customized drinks made up by customers, and that have now gone “viral”. Because there are so many different combinations of ingredients, the secret menu is in effect almost infinite. You can always make up your own drink. Dominos Pizza Menu Changes.

Dominos is second largest pizza chain in the Usa after Pizza Hut, but the largest worldwide.

The Domino’s menu used to  consist of 1 pizza in two sizes (12-inch and 16-inch), with different 11 toppings, and Coca Cola as the sole drink option.
However, with the introduction of Domino’s deep dish pizza, or pan pizza, in 1989, this changed,  as it turned out that 40% of American pizza customers preferred thick crusts.  In 2003, Domino’s announced its first new pizza for three years, the Philly Cheese Steak Pizza. The company introduced specialty pizzas in 2009, which have 40% more cheese than the regular pizzas. Additional italian inspired dishes like pasta, chicken bites and oven-baked sandwiches has since been rolled out.

Please note that the Dominos prices shown here may change at any time and may be different at your local restaurant.

The introduction of the $1 Morning Value Menu shows Taco bell’s emphasis on winning th ebreakfast fast food war. Taco Bell is going after competitors, such as McDonald’s, which introduced all-day breakfast in October 2105.

The  new menu was accompanied by a tongue-in-cheek research study, showing “84 percent of consumers prefer to spend $1 vs. more than $1”. 16 percent of survey respondents surprised everyone in their desire to spend more.
The study also revealed, that “When considering $1 breakfast options, 81 percent say that Americans should be given more choices” and “When thinking about $1 breakfast items, 80 percent say Americans should be given the option to have breakfast with bacon.” The study was conducted by Taco Bell as part of this new promotion.

More on the Outback Menu.

All meat is heavily seasoned with a 17 spice blend for the steaks themselves. Outback restaurants fry their food in beef tallow and uses real butter and heavy cream in many dishes. Burgers are ground from beef tenderloin. Some menu items are grilled, but steaks are prepared on a griddle using butter. Because they are cooked solely by heat conduction, their surfaces are cooked much more rapidly than their centers.

The Outback menu items vary slightly from region to region: Crawfish appear in some dishes in Southern American locations, as do sweet potatoes, for example. US Eastern locations often feature Maine Lobster tails, while western locations serve Alaskan King Crab legs and cakes.

Outback serves Foster’s Lager; an Australian brand of beer exported around the world. Other Australian beers often served include Toohey’s New, Boag’s, and Coopers Premium Lager, Sparkling Ale, and Pale Ale. Wines include Australian wineries such as Yellow Tail, Lindeman’s, and Rosemount.

Outback Gluten Free Menu.

Outback Steakhouse now offers a gluten free menu which includes most of its normal menu items, but with slight variations. Outback has also recently added gluten free beverages, including Angry Orchard cider.

Outback has also added a “light style” low calorie option to the menu. This option is designed to prepare meals under 600 calories by carefully proportioning out sides and preparing the meals without butter and added fats and salt.

Outback Steakhouse prices are at the middle-to-top end of the family restaurant price range. Outback steak prices are similar to steak prices on the Ruby Tuesdays menu and Applebees menu, but  generally cheaper than steak prices from the Longhorn Steakhouse menu and Texas Roadhouse menu.

5 Guys offer certain popular menu variations, or a “secret menu”, as it is sometimes known.

Here are 4 most popular 5 Guys secret menu items:

Cheese Fries – Basically a mountain of cheese baked onto your fries.

Well-Done Fries – Just ask for fires to be well done.

Double Grilled Cheeseburger -This burger’s ingredients are stacked between two separate grilled cheese sandwiches.

Patty Melt –  Cost: $3.50 for grilled cheese, $1.80/extra patty. Ask for a  beef patty between two grilled slices of bread. Add grilled onions and warm, melted cheese.

What is Five Guys Burgers and Fries?

Five Guys Burger and Fries is a casual restaurant chain specializing in gourmet hamburgers, hot dogs, and French fries. The first Five Guys restaurant opened in 1986 in Arlington County, Virginia and already Five Guys now has over 1000 locations in the United States, the UK and Canada and a further 1500 restaurants under development. The company is the fastest-growing major fast food chain in the USA.

Five Guys was founded by Janie and Jerry Murrel , plus their sons Matt, Jim, Chad, and Ben. Jerry and his sons were the original “Five Guys.” in the name. Now, one son later,  the five sons are the current “5 Guys”.

The Five Guys Menu.

The Five Guys menu is famous for its hamburgers, that can be customized with various toppings, but the chain also offers hot dogs (kosher), and grilled cheese and vegetable sandwiches. Five Guys use sweet buns for their burgers and are also known for their special fries, available only in “Five Guys style” or in a seasoned “Cajun style”. Complimentary roasted peanuts are offered in all 5 guys restaurants, and all burger toppings are free, as well.

5 Guys prices are generally higher than fast food burgers from the Burger King Menu, McDonalds Menu, Sonic Menu or from Jack in the Box, but similar or lower than prices at other gourmet burger chains like Steak and Shake and Red Robin.

Basically, you get what you pay for, and the trend is unmistakenly moving away from traditional fast food chains and towards higher priced, but better, burgers.

Starbucks Hidden Menu – How to order

The Starbucks Hidden Menu – How to order.

How do you order from Starbuck’s Secret Menu? Learn about Starbuck’s not-so-secret-anymore “hidden” menu.

Please note, that there is no “official” hidden menu at Starbucks.  Though some “secret menu” items are well known, different Starbucks stores will have different ideas about what, for example, a Captain Crunch or a Oreo Frappuccino means.

Starbucks Hidden Menu - Popular Drinks
Starbucks Hidden Menu – Popular Drinks

How to order from the Starbucks Hidden Menu.

Ordering is easy, simply askat the counter, if they do your chosen drink. Again, some coffee stores may think that a “Captain Crunch Frappuccino” means just a single added pump or two of toffee nut to a Strawberries and Creme frappuccino. Other stores may think it means to add a combination of toffee nut, chocolate and hazelnut flavours.  Other baristas will never have heard of it, so make sure you have a smartphone handy with the exact recipe, that you want.

Please, never get angry at a Barista for not knowing the exact secret menu drink, that you are requesting. Nothing irritates Starbucks workers more than a customer, who demands something from the secret menu, but who has no idea what goes in it.

The barista will always be willing to make the drink for you, if you’re willing to pay the cost of adding all the modifiers to the drink.

Lastly, do not take secret menu names literally. A “Nutella Frappuccino” does not contain any actual nutella, so don’t expect or demand that. It simply tastes a bit like nutella and was named so for this reason.

Starbucks Secret Menu

Starbucks Secret Menu.

Looking for Starbucks’ Secret Menu? Stop looking, you’ve found it.

And along the way, this allows the company to empower its customers, deepen their brand loyalty and to broaden its market appeal towards teenagers and other new customers.

However, some drinks are way more popular than others, so we have added a list of the most popular secret menu drinks and frappuccinos below.
