What is Culver’s?
Culver’s or Culver’s Franchising System, Inc. is a fast food restaurant chain that specializes in frozen custard and butterburgers. The first Culver’s opened in 1984 in Sauk City, Wisconsin and the chain now operates 527 restaurants. The company plans to open about 40 new stores per year.
Culver’s is famous for its trademark ButterBurgers, deep-fried cheese curds and frozen custard. The menu also has a wide variety of food items, including pork, seafood, fried chicken, veggie burgers, salads, sundae ice cream and their own brand of root beer. All items are made to order. The company’s main competitors among the major fast food Family/Kids restaurant chains are (see menus): Dairy Queen, Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins and Chuck E Cheese.
Culver’s Flavor of the Day.
In case you don’t know, frozen custard is essentially ice cream made with egg yolks. Frozen custard is made on the spot from machines and is not frozen in tubs like ice cream. Each machine can only make 1 flavor per day, so Culver’s has come up with a rotating flavor system, that gives you a new option every day. Culver’s serves 3 flavors each day: vanilla, chocolate, and a “Flavor of the Day”.
The Flavor of the Day varies from location to location, but you can check the up-coming flavors for this month AND the next month at Culver’s Flavor of the Day. Simply enter your city, state or zip code, choose the location and the full Flavor of the Day list for the next 2 months will be available to view.
The flavors are made freshly throughout the day, but Culver’s does not offer any price discounts on these flavors.

where do I find the list for december?
We are a culver today for lunch. It was great! I just moved back to Florida from Maryland, and I had never heard of culvers, it was great!!!
My wife and I ate at Culver’s the first time (Kennesaw) yesterday. We loved the krikle fries and drinks and sides. She got a Reuben sandwich (we both shared our sandwiches so we could try them). The Reuben was really good with (provalone? white american? cheese) and sauce but I don’t think it was Thousand Island sauce was it. The Atlantic Cod had hardly any mayonaise on it, very little cole slaw and the fish itself WAS NOT seasoned. It tasted as if it had been cooked without seasoning and you can’t season the cod fish sandwich with that kind of crust because it won’t get to the fish. So we were disappoint with it. I notice that in your menu you have dinner plates and baskets, that sounds interesting. I also thought I saw Wall Eyed(tuna?) listed on your menu but I couldn’t find it on line.
