What is The Melting Pot?
The Melting Pot is an American restaurant chain, specializing in fondue. The Tampa, Florida based company has more than 125 restaurants in 35 U.S. states, Canada, Mexico, Southeast Asia and the United Arab Emirates, and more than 15 international restaurant locations in development. The Melting Pot menu consists of cheese fondues, wines, salads, meat and seafood mains served with dipping sauces and oil or broth, plus desserts and chocolate fondues. cheese fondue, a salad, main course and a chocolate fondue for dessert. Four courses of cheese fondue, a salad, main course and a chocolate fondue are offered as a “4 Course Experience.”
The first Melting Pot opened in April 1975 in Maitland, Florida, and was founded by Mark, Mike and Bob Johnston.
