What is In-N-Out-Burger?

In-N-Out Burger is a fast food restaurant chain, with locations in the California and Pacific coast areas. The company was founded in Baldwin Park, California, in 1948 by Harry Snyder and Esther Snyder. The current headquarter is in Irvine, California. The company is now owned by Lynsi Snyder, their grandchild.
In-N-Out burger is one of the few fast food chains in the US that pays employees more than the minimum wage, starting at US$9.25 per hour in California. The In-N-Out restaurant chain has a very loyal customer base. The restaurants mostly offer an indoor dining, but some In-N-Out locations offer only drive-through and take-out. The company’s main competitors in the fast food burger segment are (see menus): Sonic Drive-In Burger, Jack In the Box, Five Guys, McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy’s, White Castle,  Smashburger and Whataburger.

The In-N-Out menu is kept simply and consists of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and the “Double-Double” (two hamburger patties and two slices of cheese). French fries, soft drinks and three flavors of milkshakes are offered. The hamburgers come with lettuce, tomato, a sauce and a choice of onions.
