What is T.G.I. Friday’s?
T.G.I. Friday’s (or just “Friday’s”) is an American casual dining restaurant chain operating 961 different restaurants in 62 countries. Its name is stands for “Thank God Its Friday”, though the company now asserts that it stands for thank Goodness Its Friday’s”.
Alan Stillman opened the first T.G.I. Friday’s restaurant in 1965 in New York. He lived on the East Side of Manhattan and he hoped that opening a bar would help him meet women. It did, as the first location was next to a apartment building that was home to 480 air hostesses.
The TGI Fridays Menu.
T.G.I. Friday’s has an extensive menu with an emphasis on alcoholic beverages. They are now famous for their endless appetizers menu and their “Ultimate” drinks which are served in 18 oz. glasses. Part of the menu is dedicated to the “Jack Daniel’s Grill”, which a made with a special Jack Daniel’s-branded sauce. The company’s cocktail and drinks menu is far more developed than competitors menus like the Applebees Menu, Cheesecake Factory Menu and Longhorn Steakhouse Menu. TGIF Happy Hour Times.
What time is Happy Hour at TGI Fridays?
A lot of visitors ask this question, and rightfully so, as the Happy Hour deals at TGI Fridays are pretty good. However, the answer really varies from restaurant to restaurant, so ideally you need to call ahead for the exact Happy Hour times.
The chain have now introduced a drinks specials menu, with different drink deals everyday. The drinks may vary, but the 1/2 prica on appetizers is valid every day.
TGI Fridays Happy Hour Drinks Menu.
TGI Friday’s is also offering deals on certain drinks on certain days of the week, from Sundays through Thursdays, at all times.
The daily specials are:
Social Sundays: $5 drinks (House Bloody Mary, Mimosa and some liquors) + 1/2-priced appetizers in the bar.
Mix It Mondays: $3 drinks + 1/2-priced appetizers in the bar.
Tuesdays with Jack: $5 Jack drinks + 1/2-priced appetizers in the bar.
Martini Wednesdays: $3 martinis and 1/2-priced appetizers in the bar.
3 Buck Thursdays: $3 drinks (House Long Island Tea, House Margarita and House Mojito) + 1/2-priced appetizers in the bar.
