What is Famous Dave’s?
Famous Dave’s of America is BBQ restaurant chain, specializing in pork ribs, chicken, beef steaks, and, of course, barbecue sauce. Dave Anderson started the first Famous Dave’s restaurant in Hayward, Wisconsin in 1994. It now has 200 locations in 34 American states.
Prices at the restaurant are at the low to middle end of the steak and ribs restaurant market, generally lower than at competitor chains, such as Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse and similar to Applebee’s steak and rib prices.
