More on the Outback Menu.

All meat is heavily seasoned with a 17 spice blend for the steaks themselves. Outback restaurants fry their food in beef tallow and uses real butter and heavy cream in many dishes. Burgers are ground from beef tenderloin. Some menu items are grilled, but steaks are prepared on a griddle using butter. Because they are cooked solely by heat conduction, their surfaces are cooked much more rapidly than their centers.

The Outback menu items vary slightly from region to region: Crawfish appear in some dishes in Southern American locations, as do sweet potatoes, for example. US Eastern locations often feature Maine Lobster tails, while western locations serve Alaskan King Crab legs and cakes.

Outback serves Foster’s Lager; an Australian brand of beer exported around the world. Other Australian beers often served include Toohey’s New, Boag’s, and Coopers Premium Lager, Sparkling Ale, and Pale Ale. Wines include Australian wineries such as Yellow Tail, Lindeman’s, and Rosemount.

Outback Gluten Free Menu.

Outback Steakhouse now offers a gluten free menu which includes most of its normal menu items, but with slight variations. Outback has also recently added gluten free beverages, including Angry Orchard cider.

Outback has also added a “light style” low calorie option to the menu. This option is designed to prepare meals under 600 calories by carefully proportioning out sides and preparing the meals without butter and added fats and salt.

Outback Steakhouse prices are at the middle-to-top end of the family restaurant price range. Outback steak prices are similar to steak prices on the Ruby Tuesdays menu and Applebees menu, but  generally cheaper than steak prices from the Longhorn Steakhouse menu and Texas Roadhouse menu.

  3. We stopped coming to Outback when they dropped the T-Bone steak which my husband always ordered. I like your lobster but when they stopped offering white zinfandel wine so that took care of me eating there. I could not understand why they would delete white zinfandel which is the only wine I drink. We have not been back in over a year. My Birthday is July 6th and was wondering whether you decided to carry my wine now. I prefer Sutter Home over Berringers. It looks like you now have T-Bone steaks now, that is if your location on Vista Blvd. in Sparks, NV has actually been brought back.I wanted to make sure the T-Bone listed above has actually been added back to the menu as well as white zinfandel. Please advise.

is every thing on the menu priced separately? If you order a steak, does anything come with it??? bread, salad, side dish, drink???? If the menu states this, I couldn’t find it…..Then again I didn’t want to spend 1/2 hour trying to find the info.
Is the steak $15.99 then a salad 4.99 and then a baked potato 2.99 more, then a cola 2.99 more? that would make $ 26.96 plus tax and tip???? If you are going to print a menu, then print everything on the menu……customers don’t want to guess what you are offering. We want everything spelled out in print. Don’t want to look at your menu and then become irritated because we can’t find something……We don’t want to feel like you are leaving things off thinking we won’t notice that in reality the meal is going to cost us more…..content and cost is important to most people who eat in restaurants.
